By using mudandmat.com you agree to these terms. They are short, because the site is simple: it publishes comparisons and links to retailers, and it does not sell anything or hold an account for you.

What this site is

Mud & Mat is an independent publisher covering entryway gear - door mats, dog and paw mats, boot trays and shoe storage. It is published by Slate Mill Group. It is not a retailer, a manufacturer, or an agent of either.

The content is editorial opinion informed by published manufacturer specifications, published care guidance, industry standards and owner reviews. It is not professional advice about flooring, construction, building code compliance or animal care.

The accuracy limits, stated plainly

• Specifications change. A pile height, capacity or load rating that was published when we compiled it may not be what ships to you today.
• Prices change constantly. Prices on this site render live from the retailer data layer or not at all, but the authoritative price is always the one on the retailer's own page at checkout.
• Availability changes. Products get discontinued. We review roundups quarterly, and something can disappear between passes.
• Measurements are ours. Where we compute something - thickness against a door gap, mat length against a stride - the arithmetic and its inputs are on the page so you can check them. Measure your own door.

Purchases happen elsewhere

Every product link takes you to a third-party retailer. Your purchase is a contract between you and that retailer, governed by their terms. Payment, shipping, returns, warranty and product safety are entirely theirs - we have no ability to intervene in any of them and no visibility into your order.
